Ok I looked around the web for an answer on this but will my PSU be enough for 2x 290 (non-x) ? I won't be overclocking it

My current build is
1x Sapphire 290
Sabertooth 990FX motherboard
AMD FX-8150 (running at 4.15ghz instead of the stock 3.6)
16gig of RAM
2x SSDs (OCZ)
1x HDD
850W Seasonic M12II Bronze PSU

I think I would be fine, but would like to hear everyone's thought on it....A lot of thread about the 290x but not so much about the 290

I want to add another 290 to try those Korean monitors at 120Hz 1440p maybe it's not necessary?

By the way the noise advertise in the reviews about the reference 290 is really not that bad, I guess those benchmark uses an open-case or something because inside my full tower (Trooper) I barely hear it and I am sitting 1 feet from it.

from what ive seen you need around 1000W to properly run 2 290(X) especially at 1440 resolution. if it was lower you might have a chance but i wouldn't crossfire those beasts on anything lower than 1000W gold + certified for 1440p.

1000w are you serious? Any gold 850w PSU will be plenty and have enough headroom for OCing
