R9 290x Eyefinity w/ 3x Montiors (only HDMI)

Hello ya'all,

I was wondering if there is any guidance on how to set up 3 Monitors that only have HDMI and VGA with the latest R9 290x since i read that one of the displays has to be connected through the display port.
I currently have the ASUS R290x (2 x DVI (Dual-Link, max 2560 x 1600), 1 x HDMI 1.4a, 1 x DisplayPort (DP 1.2)) and intend to get 3 of those (for the ultraslim bezel): http://www.aocmonitorap.com/root/anz/product_display.php?id=271

So the question is, what is the optimal adapter setup for getting 3x hdmi into that graphiccard and make eyefinity work?

that has changed, you no longer need a DP for 3 monitors with Hawaii cards

AMD also improved their display controller hardware, so you can now use three HDMI/DVI monitors at the same time without having to buy an active DP-to-DVI adapter (this was a requirement to providing the TMDS clock signal for the third monitor on previous generation cards).

So 2 to the DVIs with simple adapters and one straight to the hdmi and you are good to go.

Thank you both, i went with 2x dvi to HDMI and 1 extra HDMI/HDMI
