4770K or 8350 for virtual machines?

Hi I was just wondering which CPU would work best with Virtual Machines running multiple?

I read alot that AMD is good in virtualization but is Intel 4770K still capable of handling just as many virtual machines as an FX 8350?

Basically I am leaning towards 4770K but I want to make sure, can it run just as many virtual machines from VMware as the FX 8350?

Price is not an issue and I also game alot so which would be my better option?

The 4770k is better than the 8350 in every single way. It's also considerably more expensive so it's not exactly a fair comparison.

If price is truly not an issue, then this is a no brainer.

No. It's a first round knockout for the i7. No contest.

The 4770 will beat out the 8350 by a bit, but no where near worth the additional $200.

My choice for VMs has always been on the AMD side.
