Hey there friends!

Just wanted to update you today on some changes we've made to the way threads are listed on the Tom's Hardware Community.

• The page now adapts dynamically to all screen resolutions.
• The footprint of the Filters options have been reduced dramatically. Previously this was way too large and users had complaints. The new style is more streamlined.
• Filters have been simplified to improve usage.
• Modernized design functionality with quickview assessments for thread types and statuses.
• Tags can now be drilled down, allowing users to as an example, select tag CPU, and then AMD to see only threads tagged with "CPU" and "AMD".
• A few minor bug fixes, such as eliminating the "Answer This" button on Closed threads.

Hope you find the update useful, and please don't hesitate to let me know if you bump into any issues. If you have issues with display (which is a remote possibility), please be sure to clear your cache and re-login to the forum.

Yours,
Joe Pishgar

Why do new News Articles have a "Help" popout?

Well, that would probably be because they are automatically generated, and "Question" type threads are the default option there.
A good point! These should most definitely be listed instead as Discussion types. I'll forward along the recommendation to the devs. Great catch. :)
