Maybe it's just me, but why don't we have some sort of water cooling badge? It seems like there are enough questions about the subject, it seems like having the badge would be a good way to identify who knows about water cooling.

I also wonder that, since water cooling has exploded with crazy customization in the past years.

We can definitely have one added. "water cooling" as the appropriate tag. What would you suggest as the names and thresholds for the three tiers?

I guess I'd stick with Water Cooling Expert/Authority/Master or maybe Liquid Expert/Authority/Master if you want a shorter name.

first badge would be a faucet with water dripping
2nd a river or stream
3rd a water fall :D

So just a down and dirty mock up, I didn't take much time on these but I think if the badges looked something like this it would be good:

that looked just like the sign you see at the beaches, but without a human
drowning or swimming. :p

I'v been asking this for ages! :p

While were making mockups, here's a new concept.

Might be good in the imagery to make a distinction between "Water-Cooling" and Closed Loop Coolers like a H100i. Perhaps separate badges?

You really want Expert/Authority/Master? I'm open to other ideas. Like Little Mermaid/Aquaman/Triton or something similarly funky. :p

I'll think about it for a bit and get back to you, I just want to make sure we don't confuse the people we're trying to help.

If we want more interesting names, then I would suggest Avalonian/Atlantian/Lemurian in place of Expert/Authority/Master.

Can we bump threads? Is that allowed?
November 20, 2013 6:27:02 PM

Nope, but you can always add some small amount of relevant information to a thread that you didnt think of before ;)

Ok, good to know for future reference, just seems weird to me that this thread died so quickly.

Well i just been waiting for a clever suggestion that i can say "hey i like so-and-so's idea"
November 21, 2013 5:40:06 AM

You should suggest something, I'm kind of running low on ideas, I'd just like to get this badge rolling.
