First-time $1800 PC Build

Hi community, I've been looking into buying a PC for the last year or so, I've put together a build that I would like some opinions on.

For the record:

-I plan on buying it this month
-I don't like dual GPUs
-I am ordering everything from Newegg (Is this a bad idea? I don't mind spending a bit more to have all my parts come from the same place, even if I order them all separately)

So let's begin, I've put together:

Case - Fractal Design Define R4 ATX Mid Tower Case
CPU - Intel i5-3570k (I plan on overclocking it up to near 4.3ghz)
Motherboard - Asus SABERTOOTH Z77 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
GPU - Asus GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB (I know it's somewhat overkill, this build is supposed to be fully future proof for the next 4-5 years)
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (Is 8gb too little?)
Hard drive - Seagate SV35.5 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Optical drive - Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
PSU - Corsair Professional 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

-$1,750
I didn't include my extra fans/os/etc.

Any feedback is appreciated.

EDIT: It is meant for gaming @ 1920x1080

Waw, looks insane just for the little I know about it!

Just one question, how long are you planning to keep/ use this one until you (might) buy a new one?

Its a good build, except you should go for hasewell. If you are planning on keeping it for a while its best to stay with the newest technology

No offence meant but it seems a whole lot of money, I do about 4 years or more with my pc's the past 12 or more years and always can do what I want until they crash over and over.... So your post made me wonder how much longer a pc 3 to 4 times more expensive lasts...
Just wondering and I'd like to know...
