Hi all,

Looking to finally upgrade my ancient Radeon 4850 (512MB) video card to one of the two in my post title. Problem is I want to buy local from Microcenter so I can return if there are any issues within the first 30 days. I don't want to mess around with RMA's and return shipping from an online vendor.

So I wanted the EVGA GTX 660 SC Signature series but they are out of stock. I am looking at either the regular GTX 660 or the super clocked version, but both only have one cooling fan. Will that be a big deal for temps? Also is it worth the wait to hold out for the signature series to come back in stock since it's only $20 more than the regular super clocked version? If the difference between the two is just a few FPS more I am not worried about it.

I had a look at the BF4 graph and I'll have no problems playing at high and that's my main goal. Here are the two cards I am speaking of:

or.....

Thanks for the help.

It will make a differnece in the temperatures, but the "superclocked" card will still run fine.

Aside from that, the two cards have identical specs, same clock speeds and everything. I would actually probably get the cheaper card, as they'll run about the same, and are already overclocked out of the box.
