Hey guys just wondering,
making a budget PC soon and I am trying to get something around $300 with the best performance I can get. I can get a various used GTX 680 OC for about $300 from shopping around ebay and/or gumtree (while getting either something like an Evga or something with a decent non-referance cooler like the Asus DC2) or I could get for about $315 a brand-new GTX 760 with more warranty and support and the alike.
My main point is that what difference in performance is the 680 to the 760? Is it worth the sacrifice to get a used card for extra performance? I have heard that the 670 and the 760 are basically the same and that the 670 to the 680 is only a 5% difference.
Two more things,
does over clocking void your warranty on your card and if I get a card what cooler is the best out of these three:
http://msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=11229 (MSI Twin Frozr)
http://msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=11166 (ASUS DC2)
http://msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=11169 (Gigabyte Windforce)
-Thanks guys, appreciate it in advance.
