Need to run 3 displays and upgrade my graphics card on the cheap.

computer specs
Hp elite
pegatron 2a86 mother board
Intel core i7 extreme 990x gulftown
ssd
12 gigs of ram (uping this to 24)
current graphics is nvidia geforce gtx460 1gig
power supply is a 460watts

i have my tower open and the gtx460 in there is a tank.
i dont think ill have room for a second graphics card with out blocking the fan for the gtx
and i need to add a third monitor.


what grahpics card / cards would it take to get this done?
id keep the gtx but its so big its almost blocking my other pci slot

the monitors i want to drive all have vga dvi and 2 have hdmi

would going with an amd card be better than two nvidia?
