I want to buy a new GPU for my new system
I have the following list of GPUs & their prices, i am not sure which one to buy.

Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 - 14,800 INR
Zotak 650 ti boost 1GB - 7,600 INR
Zotak 660 ti boost 1GB - 14,850 INR

I had put all the stuff in other thread but didn't get much replies, so had put this one as individual thread.

this was the post -

Approximate Purchase Date: By New Year.

Budget Range: Rs. 40000 ($1=Rs. 63 so about $635)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Software development, Web surfing, HD Movies,

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, if any monitor with total dimensions of equal or less than 16" x 17" (w x h) supporting 1080p is available

Parts to Upgrade: CPU, Motherboard, GPU, RAM, Case

Parts I already have:
HDD(1 xSATA 500GB at 5400 rpm, 1 xIDE 80GB ),
PSU (450 W),
RAM (2 x 4GB DDR3)
Keyboard, mouse and headset

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: PrimeABGB, The IT Depot, Flipkart

Location: Mumbai, India

Parts Preferences: No real preference

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe not.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1280 x 1024

Additional Comments: my preference for CPU is intel.
I can extend my budget up to RS. 45000 ($713) if it will buy me a (1/2 year) future proof build

Why Are You Upgrading: My current system is too outdated to play latest games.

Ok here is best i suggest :

Intel i5 4430 @ 12700

Asus/Gigabyte B85 mobo @6500

Antec V1 gaming cabinet @2500

Seasonic S12 520w psu @ 4200

Asus/Zotac gtx 660 2gb ddr5 @15000

Total -@ 40,600

Stay away from coolermaster,vip,zebronics..they are bad.

Seasonic s12 520w is really great psu and comes with 5 years warranty.

Stick with Asus or zotac for gtx 660 as they offer better service support

did you see the list in first post?
Zotak 660 ti boost 1GB is for 14,850 INR
how can i get - Asus/Zotac gtx 660 2gb ddr5 @15000??

i dont know why :sarcastic: , but i feel zotak is a cheap quality brand. and i am tending towards ATI/AMD which offers double the VRAM than zotak at lesser price :sarcastic:

And the RAM i have is 2x2GB but i am not sure they are of same frequency. so i'll be buying new only.
is 2x4GB good or 1x8GB good, because 1x8GB is cheaper than 2x4GB

thanks for the quick replies.

There only Two Brands which make Gpu -Nvidia and Amd and they send this to manufacturer like...

Nvidia - Asus,Zotac,Gigabyte etc.....

Amd - Sapphire,Asus,gigabyte,msi etc..

These are the board/card manufacturers. The chips (GPU) which you'll find in these cards would be made by AMD and nVidia respectively.
