Specs as of now:

CPU - i5 3570k
CPU Cooler- Corsair H60
Mobo- AsRock z77 extreme 4
PSU- Corsair 600w
Ram- 8gb corsair vengeance
GPU - Gigabyte 7870 OC edition
SSD- Crucial m4 64gb
HDD- WD 1TB
HDD- WD 320 GB
HDD- WD Western Digital (5400rpm, laptop drive)
Optical- Asus drive

I want to buy the ASUS VG248QE, for better resolution and the refresh rate. My gpu right now is not capable of doing well in like bf4 above 60fps. So im thinking about wither buying another one for 200, and do crossfire. But the thing is, do i have enough psu power and a good motherboard for crossfire? Or im thinking about completely upgrading to a 280x or a 770.

Solution
You only go with 120hz+ if you have the GPU power to match$$$! Crossfire 280x and SLI 770 will get you there but you will need a better power supply I recommend a 750w with a strong single rail like Corsair HX.

You could always go with a Radeon 290 and a low response time 1920x1080p monitor and save yourself cash, a 290 smokes a GTX 780!
