I plan on building a new gaming rig (after using my previous build for nearly 7 years) in February after I get my tax return. I have done minor upgrades here and there to keep my old rig current, but it is really showing it's age and I think it's finally time to start anew. I need some advice on the rig I have designed (linked Below) I would really prefer to keep this in the 1500 range but could go up to 2k being that I need a new keyboard, mouse and monitor. I don't really want to to sacrifice performance, as I want to have a good stable rig for years to come.

ADVICE?

Use a 4670K i5
a mb with a Z87 chipset
2 x4 gig of RAM is plenty , 1600 MHz is fine . It must be rated 1.5 volts or less .
The WD RED hard drive is for a NAS not a desk top computer
The noctual NH-L12 is an awesome piece of kit but it is designed to be low profile to fit in HTPC cases and you can get a much better cooler for less
The sound card is pointless . The mb has sound that is easily good enough for those speakers
The thermal paste is worse than the product that ships with the noctua
You need an 850 watt psu to run that computer
