PM to moderators returns a 404 page

I've just joined to get a thread reopened so I can post a solution for other searchers

I have created a derivative batch file that works to list these hotkeys - where the solution presented has issues, and fails in Windows 8.

When I clicked on the mail icon to PM several moderators I get this on the resulting page:

404 - Page Not Found

Can someone please reopen the thread listed above?

I think some of the new work on the forums is leading to strange errors like you are getting.

With a thread that is from 2004 and closed in 2011 they tend not to reopen such old threads as they get bumped upto the surface.

It is not even technically a Tom's Hardware thread either(just an import).

Which mail icons are you clicking on, for which moderators? The one present in that thread, buwish, works on my end and I'm unable to replicate. If you can help us replicate your issue, I can have it bugged up for a fix.

Yes, it works here now too. That was the first one I tried, then I searched random threads to find more moderators, with the same result.
