Hei guys, I am about to start buying the computer parts for my first ever build.
To be very honest, I am getting extremely paranoid. I would like to ask you guys to please please please help me double check these parts again to make sure they are compatible without any problem whatsoever.
Something to note, I am in Canada thus all pricing are in Canadian dollars
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K Quad-Core Processor ($250.00)
Motherboard: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VI HERO Socket 1150 Intel Z87 Chipset ($219.00 )
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9 DIMMs ($99.99 )
Storage:Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State ($149.99 )
Video Card: ASUS (GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5) GeForce GTX 770 2GB GDDR5 ($439.00 )
Case: Corsair Carbide Series 500R Compact ATX Case Black USB3.0 ( $120.00 ) (ALREADY PURCHASED)
Power Supply: Corsair Professional Series Modular HX750 80PLUS Gold Certified 750W PSU (CP-9020031-US) ($149.99 )
Optical Drive: LG Electronics 24X SATA Super-Multi DVD Internal Rewriter with M-Disc Support (Black) GH24NS95B ($20.75 )
Operating System: Windows 7 ($100)
Total - $1549.99 ( around $2000 including tax and shipping)
The computer will be use mainly for gaming and the reason for the rather large PSU is that I MIGHT buy another 770 in the future.
I am even thinking of changing the motherboard to Asus Z87-Pro (V Edition) just soo I can follow along this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0XMvS5I7AY) to make the building even easier and less intimidating.
Soo please advise guys
Another thing is that I encounter someone having issue with the Maximus hero and the 500R case in this thread.

I am worried that they might not be compatible.
