I am sure this gets asked on a daily basis, but here is my situation:
I am planning on building my own PC for an MMO called: Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn. I would like to do it under $500 or so but will go as high as $1000. The processor and video card seem to be the most important. Im assuming the motherboard is as well. I don't need the best gaming PC, but I want a good quality and will spend the money on it, but as I said, on a budget of a max of $1000.
I will link the recommended system requirements for the game, and a webpage I just saw that lists a rig that you can build for under $500. The only thing I really plan to use this pc for is gaming and everyday, standard use (checking emails etc).
So far I have the I5 3750k in mind as the processor, the ASrock Z77 for the motherboard, and the Radeon HD 7950 as the GPU. If there are equally good parts that are cheaper, I will definitely consider them. People seem to hail the I5 as the optimal for gaming for the price, yet I see people saying the same about the AMD fx-6300. I just dont want to buy something cheaper and have to replace it a short time later. I'm also wondering if I should go Windows 7 64bit or Windows 8 64bit as my OS.
Basically, if you guys could check the two websites I link and give me a list for a build that will do what I am looking for, it would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
