Yes...another one of these articles! lol
fancy building my first computer after having my laptop (which is now slowly dying) for 5 years.
(Toshiba l350 - 170. Dual core)
CPU: Intel i5-3570 / k - seems the most reasonably price for its benchmark, i dont plan on overclocking but i think i have just found the K at £50 cheaper!
MOBO: Gigabyte Z77-D3H - seems solid with good reviews and good benchmarks on 1 website i looked at
RAM: 2x4gb crucial 1600 - not much to say other than i guess 2x4gb probably works better than 4x2gb!
PSU: Corsair CXM 500W - i didnt want to over kill with wattage, but i dont want to be under either! and this one seems to have fairly good reviews so...
CASE: Zalman Z9 Mid Tower - cheap and cheerful, good reviews!
GPU: i will be using the inbuilt GPU on motherboard for now but will look into getting a decent 1 in the future after my build
also havent decided on win 7 with standard IPS or win 8 with touch screen yet.
I'm not a gamer, if i do play games i can settle with low/mid quality graphics for now.
Mostly building this computer to munch through daily tasks and doing video/photo editing
i think i can get the above parts for £380 (assuming the 3570 is £160 and not £95 for the K)
how does this sound, have i missed anything i should be thinking about?
thanks for reading!
any comments apreciated
