yea but wouldnt haveing a graphics card per monitor be benifical? espcially for 3 monitors which are 2560x1440p?

That's not how it works. Each card doesn't run individually, they have to be linked up into an SLI configuration. And games don't perform at 200% with two cards, what you get depends on the game. Some don't even use SLI and run as if there was only 1 card. And with a 3rd card you get even less potential benefit.

I'd like to weigh in here. I have the setup you're looking at. 3 780 Ti's as well as 3 1440p monitors in surround SLI configuration. In BF4 im getting around 45-70 fps. fluctuating quite alot but with little to no stutter in the frames so its very playable. I have not tried this set up with 2 cards so I can not say what kind of performance you would see with that set up. Although if you are on a budget I would say start with 2 and add another if you have alot of stutter in your frames. as far as monitors go this is what I am using. Large bezel but ignorable. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2RY0X59885

edit: also you're gonna need a large PSU of around 1300 watts for these cards. they are power monsters if you overvolt and overclock.
