Whats good nowadays for computer security? Should I buy AVG internet security and call it a day or what?

personally i trust nothing other than kaspersky internet security.

its one of the top rated services, it gets many updates and its relatively lightweight and fast.

best buy had a deal going on for on-the-spot activated software but at a good discount. 3 licenses for a year at like $40-50 which is cheaper than what the msrp used to be for the same thing ($70-80). not sure what a single license costs.
