I need to setup 3 monitors, not gaming purposes needed. I have 2 VGA monitors already connected to a desktop with NVIDIA GeForce 210. What not expensive solution would I need to have a third monitor running?

Either a USB to VGA device or a second inexpensive video card. If you only have 1 pei-e slot, there are PCI and PCI 1 cards available but they're rather old tech for the most part. If you do get a second card go with Nvidia so you don't have driver issues. Although in my opinion the best solution would be a Flex edition Saphire card, no DP or DP adapters required for 3x.

I heard that using two cards on a desktop is not possible... I believe that it's not true then...

Thank you for the answer. the price of the card you recommended is great! ;)

You can run two cards no problem. I have 1 card (6950) running 3 monitors in eyefinty for gaming and another vid card (6450) for a single 42" for live tv via a cable care tuner mounted above the 3.

That flex card is a fantastic and simple solution for 3 monitors.

Be sure to remove/uninstall the Nviidia drivers if you do purchase the flex.
