This will be the second rig I have ever built, first one being back in 2009. I use to do a lot of folding and chess analysis, but now-a-days this rig will be used for little more than gaming. The part that I'm not convinced on is the GPU. I have the money to splurge on a 780 or even a 780 TI, but doing so would be more for a long term outlook as I'm currently only gaming at 1080p and don't plan on upgrading the monitor until after this is built and I buy a bigger desk (currently using a slab of wood with 4 pegs from IKEA, haha). Thoughts? Thank you!

EDIT: I guess I should list some games I play consistently: League of Legends, D3, Path of Exile, Rome II Total War, Civ 5. Plan to build this on or around Black Friday.

Very Nice! I would not buy the 780 or 780 Ti right now because it is simply not needed with one display at 1080p. IMO, just buy what you have there and save up for your desk. :)

I would spend a little extra and go a little higher, but it would probably still work with what you have now

Great, thank you. Anyone else with input? :) I'll probably buy the components on Black Friday depending on deals.
