Which do you guys think is better and why? I also would like to know somethings about the Xbox One:
- With the voice control, does it recognize everyones voice, or can you make it only recognize yours? Because I dont want my sister walking in and say "Xbox turn off" every 2 minutes.
- Are the games 720p or 1080p?

And I have just a couple questions about the PS4:
- Whats with the hardware? Is the CPU messed up, so they have to redo it? The fans are messed up? Blue light of death? Red light of death?

You dont just have to answer the questions here. I would appreciate if you added your opinion, and other info about these 2 systems. Thanks :D

I think PS4 vs. XBox1 vs PC discussions are childish and worst of all, they're endless.

Both consoles are head to head hardware wise. Both have their pro and contra, but in the end, you will just play the game and never look back nor will you ever think about those pro/contra features.

Just because one CPU has a higher hertz rate, doesn't mean the other is better, and vice versa.

It really comes down to either your brand preferences (Sony or Microsoft), or what the majority of your friends have, so you can play online with them. Or in some cases the controller, some prefer the Xbox controllers, others the dualshock from Sony.

About your questions.
There is nothing wrong with the PS4 CPU. If you read something bad about CPU or Fans, then it's just the media hyping up isolated incidents, exactly like they did today with the Xbox1 having broken blue ray drives. Those are isolated incidents.

Kinect does distinguish between user voices and if worse come to worse, you can also disable it.

Games are either 720p or 1080p, it depends on the game itself. Call of Duty Ghost for example runs at 720p.

It all about to Sony based on simple facts! I pulled my Xbox One out of the box and had to network it straight away! Then It crashed! Then after exhausting 4hrs of reinstalling operating systems with no joy Microsoft support give me the options of getting a new one but I had to give them £300 as a deposit re sending back broken machine , taking back to store of purchase or sending it to repair center to wait another 3 weeks. I am obviously not happy as they knew were prepared for this situation! The Xbox One has been rushed for the Xmas market!!!

I'd say look at the game catalog and pick the one that has more games that you would like to play, spec wise they're so close that there's little point in arguing about their hardware.

If you are looking for graphics.I would go with the Xbox One.I figured that the PS4 had the better specs and the resolution advantage that the ps4 graphics would be better.I've experimented a little with both and I give the edge to the Xbox One.PS4 runs games natively at 1080p but the colors and edges are so washed out.At a lower resolution the Xbox One has more texture, color and depth in its graphics.I personally am going with the system with the next gen graphics and the Xbox One graphics are more appealing to me as next gen.Xbox One is the only Xbox system i've ever played on and i think it really is better than Sony's PS4.

The systems are so similar, you shouldn't even bother debating the hardware. Just choose the system for the exclusive games. I don't have a PS4 as of now, but I know I will eventually be getting one because I like Media Molecule, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, and some of their other developers.

Any game that isn't console exclusive I play on PC. If the game was made to be played on console, but is available for PC, I use my PS3 remote on my PC. ;)
