gaming computer question?

i have kinda old computer with a lga 1366 socket x58 chipset ... i have a i7 970 cpu wiht 16gb ram but i want to upgrade my video card but most video cards out there are updated for pci express 3.0 and my motherboard is for pci express 2.0 ... i want to get into gaming pc .. should i sell this computer and with the money that i get save up to build another computer ? what should i do?

Any 3.0 card will work fine in a 2.0 slot. PCI Express is a backward compatible interface. And you won't notice any difference in speed.
