I'm just curious what you would do in this situation.

I have a friend who said he would give me $150 to buy my 660 TI. If I were to sell the card, I could now pickup a 2gb 770 for about $170 (4gb about $200), or I could keep the card and spend an extra $100 on grabbing a second 660 TI for SLI.

If I do the upgrade and SLI the 770 down the road, I think my current box will be set for a while. I upgraded my rig a few months back.

i7 4770k @ 4.2ghz
16gb ram
200gb ssd
gtx 660 ti

I'm leaning towards doing the upgrade. A 770 for ~$200 is pretty tempting. What do you all think?

Thanks!

i would definitely upgrade to a 770. and get another 770 later.
as for the framebuffer, generally a 4GB is overkill, unless you have multi-display or 4K monitor... i know the $30 difference is tempting for sure, but will you be able to get another 4G card for such a price in the future? i do not know about that.

dont listen to those who say get superclocked 2gb over 4gb, you can oc the 4gb just as much by yourself, not to mention games are on the brink of breaking 2gb vram usage right now, expect that 2gb vram to be blown away when ports of ps4 and xbone ports get released.
