Is a 735 watt PSU sufficient to power a FX-8320 + R9 280X?

Other system specs are ASUS M5A97 R2.0 mobo, 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 ram, 120GB SSD, 500GB HDD, Cooler Master 212 EVO.....

Would that be enough power? What would be the minimum recommended PSU for such a system? Also, regarding the specific PSU, what are your thoughts on this one? Obviously, I want to save money, but I don't want to buy a turd with glitter on it.

yes you could do it with 650w you will be fine.

I'd recommend staying away from Raidmax.

Oh, and if it's relevant, this is the particular GPU I plan to get. I know some brands/models are hungrier than others.

Okay. I'll shop around for another brand, as I've read some bad reviews, as well...and, the fact is, you usually get what you pay for.
