I already own the case, CPU, MB, and mouse (gifts and deals) so that makes the total cost of the build so far around $1100. I would like to lower the cost by at least $300 but if you guys think my current build would be worth it in the long run I'll just piece it together over time. I plan on using using it for gaming and basic tasks like surfing and writing papers. Eventually I'd like to add a second monitor and second video card if needed. Thanks for reading.

Everything looks good, I was leaning toward lowering my ram to 8 gb. Why did you recommend the Phanteks over the CoolerMaster? It seems like they have similar performance but the CM is cheaper.

Any suggestions on monitors? Thanks for the link to the newegg promos. That's what prompted me to make this thread in the first place heh.

Why did I suggest Phanteks? I tought it was better. If you think EVO is good? Well it is cheap. But is it good?
IMO no. Try this. This is good.

It depends lot what you are looking. Better OC or silent cpu cooler. CM 212 EVO can not OC max out 4670k OR 3570k.

If you look really good cooler then this. With this 4.8GHz with 4770k http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhu14s

Did someone say to you that 3570k OC better than 4670k?
Was just wondering :)

Then it is good to know what you think :)

Sorry for the late reply, duty called heh. Thanks for the links, I'll make sure to install my CPU cooler the correct way. I was going to add some fans to the top of my case along with the stock ones. Is that not enough?
