First off, my objective is a gaming rig that's able to handle battlefield 4 on 64 player map servers with ultra settings at 1080p, high viewing distance is imperative since I'll mostly play as a pilot or sniper. My budget for my first desktop will be in the ranges of 700$ to ~1000$, including the monitor.
So far my eyes have caught these items...

Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, comes with Three Fans-1x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1x Top 140mm Fan, 1x Rear 120mm Fan, option Fans-2x Side 120mm Fan

My strategy was to get a cheap and capable AMD processor and allocate that money into a high end graphics card.
Feel free to give any advice...

Hey,
Must say your build looks pretty decent, for what I can tell (can't boast about piles of hardware knowledge tho). However have two small remarks:
Take a look at SSD's. Even getting a small 64GB one is a great idea for OS and those few essential programs, allows your PC to boot up ultrafast. I've got one, didn't expect it to be that fast.
Secondly and lastly, just a customer opinion, recently bought an AOC 23" monitor (can't remember exact model number) for equiv. of 125$, and must say was also pleasantly surprised how quality a product it is. I've got a Samsung SA950 as well and actually prefer colours and contrast of AOC. Just saying, very cheap yet high quality product.

Anyways, i'd be great to hear how your build esp...

My only concern is the graphics card, GIGABYTE GV-R928XOC-3GD Radeon R9 280X 3GB, heard a lot of DOA's for it and horrible warranty support.

I'm not big on LED's, but I could always use better air flow, the only reason I went for the case I did is because it has 3 fans.
