hi everyone
i am a VFX artist with 3D, Maya and Realflow software as mainstream
i trying to build a workstation
i need a workstation with :

TWO - CPU's sockets
i7's or Xeon E5's

Motherboard capable of DUAL CPU sockets

Memory above 32 GB

128GB - SSD

GPU for dynamics simulations

cooling systems, to keep everything cool

sorry for not being able to narrow down the specs.
if anyone has an good idea or experience in building workstations please help.

the budget can be $2000 - $3000

thank in advance

This is good for the job. Samsung PRO is bit faster SSD.

Cheaper case maybe Fractal R4 or new bitfenix.

OS and blueray writer you can pick up ? :)

This is my suggestion :) Hope you like it :)
Case is awesome. Really good reliablePSU. This do have enough power to do SLI with 780's if need :)

Id do RAID 0 with two 256GB SSD's

This makes really much faster read/write speeds.

really thank you AxlFone :)
few doubts,

which is the best ? ::
Motherboard Asus SABERTOOTH X79
or Gigabyte

isn't X79 becoming older ?
i have searched for newer versions of LGA2011 socket motherboards for pairing with Intel Core i7-4930K, but ifound none.
do you think there will be one in near future ?:bounce:

do you think i can manage a 2-way SLI with same GPU budget which can perform more than GeForce GTX 780 ? :??:

and also please suggest me a way to keep the entire CABINET at lower temp, (more if we are going for SLI), or even a method to keep every part cool individually, (because if start an animation render, the CPU will start exploding heat which can make an average room hot)

now i am clearly decided on this processor, but just asking for info,

IMO asus pro or gigabyte.

X-79 2011 did just get new 4930k cpu. Old was3930k

They all work fine . they just need bios update.
I have gigabyte UD3

do you think there will be one in near future ?
No. There did come new 1.1 rev mobo. that is new :)

Can uu drill couple holes to room wall and trow radiator out?

Like this. http://watercool.de/wbb/board1-watercool-support-deutsch/4100-produktinfo-mo-ra3-9x140-lt-pro-und-mo-ra3-core-lc/?s=04de1756650ca9e631e7faaa8cb1ea295eedcc38

Then you just need water block forcpu ,gpu's and pump res, some tube + fittings. Thats all. Well maybe good to have some water additives. And kill coill..

now i am clearly decided on this processor, but just asking for info,

Better ask than be sorry :)

thank you very much AxlFone

can you recommend me a SLI combination

and also,
there seems to be no room for dual socket motherboard is there ?

thanks again

Good SLI is 760 (faster than one 780 or Titan for gaming)
Maybe good for rendering and 3D too.

Then comes 770 / 780 new 780Ti is fastest for now.
Or Ayi cards are faster? Not so sure about this.
But they can ne good buy caus " 9 290 can be bios update and after that is R 9 290 X so it is big save.

780Ti are expensive but if you have money to do SLI with them.
Go for it. Other than that GTX 780 SLI is good. Just look good cards for it. If you go for water cooling EVGA or Zotac is best cards.
They do not lose warranti if you remove cooler. All lother cards will lose warranty.

Hope this helps :)

Asus SABERTOOTH X79 MotherBoard Rs. 26,316.00

Cooler Master Silent Pro Hybrid
1300 Watts PSU Rs. 22999

Gskill RipjawsZ F3-2133C9Q-32GZH RAM Rs. 27,254.00
(does this support? :??: or i have to go with "F3-1866" :??:)

Asus NVIDIA GTX 670 DC2 2 GB GDDR5 Rs. 30210

now all i need is Cabinet and Cooling systems

please suggest me best cooling solutions, i want to run my system at lower temps as much as possible

i have come up with this

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Sivasoe/saved/32mn

please check please

I am really fixed on Processor, Ram and Power Supply
please help on the remaining
A better motherboard, if there is, than what i chose
and cooling systems for every part of cpu (if possible)
and finally the GPU (if there is better than one i chose)
