I can no longer see a way to quote a previous post within a thread, nor how to quote multiple previous posts. Am I missing something obvious?

I was going to prove to you wrong that quoting works via the " button on the side, while it is there the it doesnt actually quote the poster. So indeed it is not functioning properly

I just clicked on the quote button (in the + position) and posted this. The previous quote by YOGI is included.

What do you mean by "in the + position"?

You must click on "post an answer" to get the quote function.

If you click on the quote button you will see it change from a plus to a minus to add or remove a quote.

Here is what I am doing. Go into a previous post. The quote is in the + position then click Reply to XXX, this opens the typical quote window to allow you to post with the quoted material.

I just used the Quote function from the toolbar above the thread answer text box, but that requires a copy and paste to select the text. Is this the only way to do it? I feel like I must be missing something?

I'm still not getting what you mean by "the + position".

I'm not seeing this either.

I'm sorry to be such a PITA. Maybe my quotation privileges have been suspended or revoked?

Thanks for the help!

Now we're getting somewhere!

What you describe above is how it worked for me before, but now the "Reply to XXX" line is no longer on my screen. The quote marks for quoting multiple posts are also missing.

It looks like it is a Firefox problem. I just tried viewing this thread in IE and the usual "Reply to XXX" is right there in the bottom right area of the postings.

Now that I've identified the problem, what is the solution?

This looks like a bug in the new forum software. How do I go about reporting such an issue?

You did when you started the thread. I'll make sure the other mods and devs see this. Thanks.

Do you run your browser full screen or windowed?

I normally run it windowed. I just tried it full screen and the "Reply to XXX" was there.

Thanks,

You could also try resizing it in windowed mode.

By the time I get the window large enough to show the quotes, I may as well just go full screen, it is so large.

Just to verify, I'm seeing the same issue in FireFox. Clicking on the quote button does indeed turn it from + to -, but appears to do nothing else.

USAFRet appears to be correct. I played around with the quote icon some more and saw no difference in results.

Ahhh, I'll forward along the issue to the devs for investigation.

OK - The situation has now gone from bad to worse! Based upon the previous post I found that I could enable Quotation by switching to Full Screen Mode. Now, even that no longer works! I have no Quotation options in Full Screen nor Windowed!

What is going on??

Recently updated Firefox from v. 24 to v. 26.0. No change! Still cannot see any quotes in windowed nor full screen.

I am also seeing others ask "Where is the quote?"

Is anybody working on this? Are there any Firefox workarounds?

The issue has been reported and is being investigated.
Are you able to quote an above user by clicking on the "Reply to" hyperlink itself, or does this not function either for you? Is it just the quotes+ button malfunctioning for you?

The "Reply to" hyperlink and the "Qoute+" option are both missing from my screen. My only option is to copy and paste into the "Quote" icon right next to the "Spoiler" icon in the "Your Solution" header.

I just tried IE 10 and the Reply To was there but Quote+ was not.

Thanks for your interest!

So this how I should add a quote.

I have recently discovered that the problem has been fixed. All that I have to do is to enlarge the display from "Windowed" to "Full Screen" and all of the quote functions are there. I can also get all of the quote functions to appear by using "Ctl -" to reduce the size of the text.
