So I am building my first computer, I finally have the money to do it, and am excited! I just wanted some opinions on my build and what I could possibly do to improve it, while staying within my budget. I'm trying to stay around $600, but I'm willing to extend that to $700-ish, if there is a possible significant upgrade I could get from the extra dinero.

Also, this is my first time posting on this forum so I'm kind of assuming that this is the right section.

Here's what I'm looking at right now!:)

Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($59.99 @ Microcenter)

Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 2GB Video Card ($183.98 @ Newegg)

Power Supply: Antec 450W ATX Power Supply ($34.99 @ NCIX US)

I guess if I were to nitpick at all I would say that I would of preferred a stronger PSU. I'm of the mind that having a PSU that is over 600 and has a strong OEM is probably the sweet spot for most however if you can get away with a 450 watt psu great. I don't know the model number of the unit you have their so its hard to say beyond that and ANTEC normally makes pretty decent PSU's but I do feel you could do better whether with a xfx or corsair power supply. And given how much you are spending on ram I don't see why you couldn't purchase something in the 1600 mhz line.
