"and Apple is trying to relocate more of its manufacturing within the United States as well."

Actually Foxconn manufactures iGizmos for Apple.

Anyway, maybe Foxconn's suicide rate will be lower in Pennsylvania ;)

Are they going to install suicide nets here too or is that just a China thing?

Considering the actual rate of suicide for the foxconn plant was actually lower than the US general populace I would not hold my breath. The media just go a hold of a number and decided it was interesting.

That is true. But what was so alarming about it was the number of suicides occurring at the same place, nearly all by the same method, and nearly all for the same reasons.

So kids will be able to go home and see their parents, sunshine, feel the breeze and finally die peacefully with no regrets while thanking Foxconn for the best day of their life? *shred tears of joy*

Funny thing is, the suicide rate at Foxconn is actually lower than all 50 US states (per 100,000 people).
