My cpu is : AMD A10-6800K (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113331)
And my MB is : ASUS F2A85-V PRO (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131882)
I am very new to this stuff, and this is my first build, to apply the fan on my cpu, will it have thermal compound already on it or do I need to put it on there myself??

The CPU should come with thermal paste. However it will not be pre-applied, you will have to do that yourself. (There are plenty of videos about how to apply it correctly.) Another thing to consider is that the thermal paste that will come with the CPU will not be the best available and for a relatively small price I would recommend buying some high quality thermal paste as it will be able to transfer the heat better, and will make your CPU run cooler.

If it has a Thermal Tape under the cpu fan then no need, if not you will have to apply it yourself.

Hi zhubbs94!

so u dont have to buy an Thermal paste tube.

(at least all cpu's ive baught there has always been thermal paste on)
