I believe both components are equally as important to cool. However, I never had an issue in my experience with the stock coolers on GPUs. I did though with CPU coolers.. after I used a Zalman cooler.. never had an issue ever again.

You can search this cooler from Australia or wherever you are at for a better price, but I always loved Zalman and their customer service was great when I needed new brackets for my new motherboard.

I dont think you will have an issue with Zalmans products.
