There are currently 3 monitors I have been looking at. The use for these monitors will mostly be for playing games, with the occasional internet browsing etc.

NOTE: To avoid company biases please include an educated explanation of why you chose the one that you did. Thank you!

Since nobody responded to this yet, I will be the first to say BenQ all the way. They get better and better on perfecting their issues (something they just cant fix are those sucky default colors, but who keeps the default colors anyway). The 1ms is the best out of the 3 choices and I will be the first to tell you for someone who has 3 BenQ monitors, the picture is incredible.. even though I believe any of these choices should suffice.

I like it when you say this

"The use for these monitors will mostly be for playing games, with the occasional internet browsing etc.

Yes, BenQ makes great gaming monitors, with the deepest blacks and alright whites (Asus sometimes beats them in whites, the XL2420T comes out a bit off white), however, I web design with 2 XL2420TEs and 1 XL2420T and its great. My colors are rich in color and I dont regret my decision with BenQ monitors. If you are using these for mostly gaming.. then get it.

Lastly, read the reviews from newegg as I glanced and them, people have great things to say about these. I usually filter reviews to "Most Helpful" because those reviews are usually detailed and honest with their positive and negative feedback.

Final Decision: BenQ 24 inch ( Biggest screen of all 3, 1MS (GTG (Gray to Gray)), gaming preferred choice, Only Con: Most expensive out of all 3 but its worth it)
