NEED OPINIONS AND SUGGESTIONS - Making my first custom build

I need suggestions on the following.

- Is this a good build?
- How can I improve it so that it will last me a while
- Can I get any better parts for the same price?
- General suggestions, opinions, and concerns are welcome!

Would you like to go with a R9 290,with good O.C ing,a 290 can reach or even surpass a gtx690/titan which is a little costlier.
Will this do? it has a3GB Vram and is better than the gtx770:

That actually sounds good. Would that make this a good build? I'm just trying to be cautious and get honest opinion because I'm completely new here.

Yes that would make it a perfect build..
I provided u a link of a R9 280x not of a 290 but if u can stretch ur budget to get a 290 then a R9 290 would be the best. It would be the best choice.
