Are you trying to save money for an OS?

I'm saving money because I don't have a monitor, keyboard or mouse.

the above build with the 7970 would be a bottleneck with a fx6300. Aim for a fx8320/8350 or if u go with intel then aim for something like i5-4430/i5-4570/4670k. Pls give ur budget and we would be able to help u much specifically.

You can also use a 6300 with a hd7970, but remember to O.C it to avoid bottlenecking. For that get a decent third party cooler like CM Hyper 212 EVO.
