So I've been researching graphics cards quite a lot lately and I found that the r9 270 has a slightly better performance then the 7870. I've also heard that the r9 series was meant to replace the 7000 series, and seeing that the 7870 card often goes on sale for as low as $130 (with MIR) and the r9 270 is $180 do you guys think that the extra 50 dollars is worth it for getting the newest/up-to-date hardware in the r9 270? Or do you think that such a similar performance between the two graphic cards does not give reason to pay the extra 50 dollars?
