Hey guys I'm just about to purchase my first system but I want to make sure I didn't over look anything. Also if you have any changes that you think would make the build better please let me know.

My system will be used for the following descending according to relevance:

Gaming (Graphics are not extremely demanding, this GPU should be perfect)
Streaming using XSplit on TwitchTV
Editing using AAF and Sony Vegas (I would like to avoid laggy preview windows while editing)
Blu-Ray read/write

Pretty solid overall.

If you wanted to save some money then the Motherboard and PSU would be the obvious places (you can comfortably save $40-50 on the motherboard and drop 200-250W off the PSU) but if it's for expansion etc then that's fine.

I was considering that but I do like the BIOS/sound features of the MOBO and as for the PSU I want to leave myself the option of OC in the future. Is the 750w overkill for a system running 380w?

It's a really good psu, especially for that price, you don't have to change that.

In the next parts list is the motherboard not good enough in terms of sound chip?
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2dBH7 (i'm just playing with it ;),i like the motherboard for that price )
edit:
I came across the next thread,
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1704035/z87-mobo-sound-quality-realtek-1150-core-supremefx.html
i don't know if they're right.

Vic thanks for the info, I decided to change up my SSD. Checked out some benchmarks and reviews on the 840 EVO!

As far as the MOBO I looked into the HERO and the sound might not be everything that I had read so thanks for the posting that, I like to know correct information. I decided to stick with the HERO based on the BIOS settings for OC'ing and a few other future proof features it offers.

Here's what I finished with:

If you want to save some money, the Xeon E3 1230V3 has all the features of the i7 without the overclocking and runs a just a little slower. That also means you can save on CPU cooling. Speaking of CPU coolers, your part is listed at Microcenter, which does not offer shipping.

I also think you'd be better served with a cheaper mboard and PSU. The ASRock Z87 Extreme4 is only $130. You can grab this SeaSonic PSU for only $65 and it will power just about any single GPU. Put that extra $110 toward an add-in soundcard like a X-Fi or Xonar if you want awesome gaming sound.

Thanks for the insight, I looked into the ASRock but I have placed my orders and I'm excited about my first build! Thank you all once again!
