So I'm thinking of getting this monitor http:// . I was looking at the specs of the monitor and I saw that instead of having a regular DVI port it has a DVI with HDCP. I'm just wondering if this cable that I would use to hook up the monitor to my PC would still fit in that DVI socket. Here's the cable http:// . I just want to know if I do get this monitor, if the cable will still fit in it. Thanks!

Solution
HDCP stand for High Definition Content Protection. It's mainly used for Blu-Ray.
The DVI connector with HDCP and DVI are exactly the same
The monitor should come with a DVI cable but if not then yes that cable will work.
Although it's best to use DVI to DVI or HDMI to HDMI
