Hi, this is my first time building a computer, and I'm really nervous if my parts are compatible or not, or if they will bottleneck, etc. I'm looking for a casual gaming PC with a budget of under $600. This is the build I am thinking about:
Case: NZXT Source 210
MoBo: MSI FM2-A75MA-E35
CPU/GPU: AMD A10 5800K (this is a CPU with integrated graphics)
HDD: 500GB WD Caviar Blue
RAM: Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 4gb
OS: Windows 8.1
PSU: 500W Corsair CX500

Please help me determine if this build will work and provide good performance or not, and feel free to make suggestions or point something out.
Thanks!

These parts are compatible, and the A10 will handle 720p gaming pretty well when properly setup. It will struggle @ 1080p though. If you're gaming at 1080p I recommend going in a different direction.

If you stick with the A10, you need TWO sticks of RAM at 1866mhz to get maximum performance.

I don't have time to put a build together for you right now, but I think $600 should get you something better. I think you may could get a FX 6300 + HD 7850 in that price range.

I'm really just an entry level gamer, and this will also be my first gaming PC I've ever used, and the first computer I've built. Also I am on a strict budget. I think I will stick with the A10, and get another stick of that HyperX Blu RAM. 8GB is good for casual gaming, right? I will probably upgrade my rig later, too. P.S. - Do I have a good psu for this rig?
Thanks.

I guess if all the parts are compatible and there will be no bottlenecking, etc., the real question is, "Is this a good, entry-level gaming PC?"

Yes 8GB is fine. That psu is more power than you'll need. Try to get the A10-6800k instead of the 5800k. Also, you should think about getting a fm2+ motherboard so you can upgrade to Kaveri next year.

Thank you so much for your help. I will buy an FM2+ motherboard and the a10 6800k instead of the original components, and another stick of ram. Really looking forward to this new computer!

This is the same setup I just built myself and I love it. Kaveri is supposed to be really good. If you haven't bought any RAM yet you should try to get 1866mhz or 2133mhz for best performance.
