Not very good with computers... Trying to install Radeon HD 6870 and my Monitor wont turn on!

i recently Reset my Computer do to crashes i have fixed. and i got a Radeon HD 6870 to replace my old GeForce GT 210. but my Monitor wont turn on! the fan is running (quite hard it sounds) i tried making sure it was all connected correctly and even dusted out my computer.

You need to uninstall the Nvidia drivers of your old GT 210, then use driversweeper to clean the rest out, then install the graphics driver for the 6870

Quick tutorial (in your case you'll be uninstalling Nvidia drivers and not AMD ones)

before installing your amd card uninstall your nvidia display drivers and then try to replace your amd card now
