WiFi connects to laptop but not on mobile.

i have a dell inspiron laptop and till yesterday i was using windows 7 and i used virtual router to create wifi hotspot to connect my other devices such as smartphones and other laptops, but today i installed my pc with windows 8 and i installed virtual router for wifi hotspot...

but the problem i face is the wifi is found by laptops and are connected also but smartphones are identifying the wifi and trying to connect but it shows aunthentication problem..

how could it be possible? the same wifi which connects PC is not connecting a mobile...? what i should i do to make it work

Go into the smartphones and configure their network connections (consult your manual for details), the laptop did it automatically. You changed the hotspot with the new install.
