This will be my first time building a PC.These are the parts i bought. The case comes with a 350w PSU. Will that be enough for my setup? On top of these parts i will also b getting an Asus Radeon HD 7770 2GB Video Card.

You need at least a 500W PSU for the 7770.

well I'd say it would be enough to drive your computer, but the quality of the PSU is a major concern to me. I think you should look into a different PSU if I were you just in case, it would be terrible to build your computer and 3 months down the road your psu blows and and takes something with it. not say it will happen but it could.

Thanks for your replies. Good to know the HD 7770 needs at least a 500w psu. Will a 500w cut it? or would i need more power for everything else on top of that?

you could run it off a 500w no problem i don't see that computer pulling more than 300w, my i5 3570k at stock settings and stock hd 7950 barely pulls more than 300w when running prime 95 and heavens benchmark, so under normal conditions id say you'd pull around the 200's somewhere if you're not overclocking, so id say a good 430w could even do it but you wouldn't have much room to overclock or add other power hungry parts

Well I'm sure they both would work, id personally lean towards the corsair PSU though, Its 80+ certified and I've heard Cooler Master isn't the best company to get PSU's from. If you want to save a bit of money though you could look into the Rosewill green series PSU, i've heard they are alright http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182199

Thanks scuba. I definitely like saving money so think i am going to go with the Rosewill.

Also, i think ive changed my mind on GPU's. I think i am going to go with a Radeon R9 270 instead of the HD 7770. I hope 530w will still be enough with that.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good cooling fan for under $50?

I'd say you'd be fine that card pulls about double of what a 7770 would, but that psu should handle it just fine. By cooling fan are you talking about for your cpu? I'd say go for the cooler master hyper 212 evo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099 It does a pretty good job and its not that expensive
