Do you really need a DVD/CD-drive?

I'm building a new system for mostly gaming. A lot of games I play also have digital download options. Isn't it possible you can ask most of the companies you bought the game from, to give you a digital downloadable version?

I have a spare DVD-drive lying around, but it's grayish-black, and I'm building a mini-ITX build with the White Prodigy case...so grayish-black dvd-drive on a white case would look quite ugly...what do you guys think?

Do you guys put dvd-drives on ur custom P/C still?

u dont need one i use usb drive to install windows, and an external dvdburner if i need it.

I wouldn't bother with is personally. And if you do ever need it, it only takes 5 mins to install the DVD drive anyway.

I but all my games online so I download them. If you're going to be buying games on disk it's worth installing your disk drive. It might not look the best, but there's no avoiding it if you need the drive.
