Should I return my monitor because of one dead pixel?

I recently bought an Asus VG23AH online at amazon. I love the monitor, but after some quick video watching, I noticed a black spot near the left side of the screen. However, it is only one dead pixel, so I'm wondering, should I return the monitor and try to get a replacement because of one dead pixel, or does only one not really warrant a return and I should just live with it? How common are dead pixels; if I return it, will I most likely just get a screen with a dead pixel in a different spot? Thanks for you input.

Some manufacturers require that there be a certain number (usually >1) of dead pixels before they will exchange your monitor. Check the manufacturers website.
