Recently i've decided to buy a new video card and have chosen the Sapphire 280x seen
here
The problem is that the video card needs 750w and I currently only have 500w forcing me to buy a new power supply. I have no experience at all with power supplies and could use some help ensuring the power supply will do the job I need it to do.
Currently my specs are:
CPU: AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core Processor (8 CPUs), ~3.1ghz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Case: Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced (USB 3)
Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit
I plan to run my current video card as a second card allowing for dual monitors which is another thing I have to take into account when buying the power supply.
I'm trying to find the cheapest power supply that will do the job without sacrificing a huge ammount of quality, currently i'm looking at this one I just need to know that it will work before purchasing.
Thank you in advance for the help
