Hello all,

I am contemplating building a gaming PC and was looking to see if anyone would be willing to provide some suggestions or critique the components I chose on PCPartPicker before I pull the trigger on all of them. I have experience upgrading older PCs that had originally come pre-assembled but this would be the first time building one myself. If you notice anything that is overkill or can be replaced by better/cheaper components, I would love to get the feedback. Any advice that I get would be welcomed.

My goal is to run a OC'd i7 4770k with 2-way SLI GTX 770 4GB cards. I have taken a look at some similar builds and thrown together the following list of components:

This is actually very similar to my own build. I decided to splurg just a tad more on the Mobo and RAM. Also I went with an Asus GPU this time instead of my usual EVGA GPUs. From reading reviews I also went with a different Power Supply and CPU Cooler.

Mobo: Asus Maximus VI Formula
RAM: G.Skill Trident X (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400
GPU: Asus Direct CU II Thermal Design (GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5)
PSU: Corsair AX860
CPU Cooler: Kraken x60

I also plan on OCing the i7-4770K up to around 4.5 GHz and eventually upgrade to 2x Asus DCUII GTX 780s running on up to 3 monitors. Considering all of the similarities between our builds I obviously give it a thumbs up!

As a side note, Microcenter has a CPU + Mobo deal that will knock $30-$40 off if you buy those 2 together at Microcenter.
