How good is this PC for gaming?

Processor: AMD A8-6600K APU with Radeon HD graphics (4 CPUs), 3.9GHz

Memory: 8192MB RAM

DirectX 11

Video: AMD Radeon HD 8570D 1GB
Approx. Total memory: 4210 MB

System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64- bassed processor

These are my PC specs.
How much of a gaming PC is it?
Would it be able to smoothly run Battlefield 4 on recomended settings?

It will be able to run BF4 on low settings @ 1600x900 with decent framerates.

The GPU barely meets the minimum requirements. The CPU doesn't meet the recommended requirements.

Sorry to correct you, but that's backwards.

The CPU portion of the APU is just fine, it's a 3.9ghz Richland chip (2 piledriver modules, 4 cores) ...which means it's slightly faster than an FX-4300.

The GPU portion is not up to the requirements at all. It's even slower than a DDR3 HD 6670, which is about the slowest card that can still be considered a "gaming" card itself. The 8800GT that is the BF4 min requirements is much faster than the GPU portion of the chip.

Your best bet is to buy a discrete GPU (assuming your PSU can handle it) and put it in your machine (a 7770, 7790. or 7850 would be well balanced with your CPU)

It's the 1gb version, but there's a 7850 available for $90
