Will my computer support an HD 7870?

I have an HP Pavilion 500-017c that has a 600w power supply. (nothing is modded but the PSU) I have an MS-7778 motherboard with a PCIe x16. I'm wondering if a Raedon HD 7870 Sapphire would be supported by my PC. Everything checks out in my eyes, but I need an expert's opinion. Thanks.

I cant see there being any issues with that provided that modded psu has atleast 32amps on the +12v rails
what make/model is that psu

If you could provide your full specs that would help identify any problems. Other than that you should be fine unless you've got some crazy CPU than draws in a lot of power lol. (JK)

it is corsair 600w. just the normal version. ATX form factor

600 W is perfectly fine. Im running a 650w atm with the same card.

Great card, its a workhorse thats for sure and my XFX Double D Ghz edition runs amazingly cool. Overclock to 1450 mem clock and 1100 core clock and at max load it never goes above 65C. Great card IMO, I am planning on crossfiring with another one in the near future
