I play Sims 3 but it lags so much on my computer. My graphics card is a geforce 6150se nforce 430 and I have 2gb of ram and my processor goes at 3.0GHz. I wanted to know if I put another stick of 2gb ram into the computer if it would make a difference as I am going to buy a better computer for gaming when I can afford one and I don't want to buy a new graphics card and psu etc.
The minimum req for sims are

- FOR WINDOWS VISTA
2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
1.5 GB RAM
128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1
At least 6.1 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games
For computers using built-in graphics chipsets under Windows, the game requires at least:
Intel Integrated Chipset, GMA 3-Series or above
2.6 GHz Pentium D CPU, or 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, or equivalent
0.5 GB additional RAM

i know that chipset there is no graphics card on your motherboard its onboard video you will need both ram and a new gpu
and psu
whats your full specs of your pc start control panel system
