I just built a new computer, and my onboard video was working fine while I waited for my GTX 770 to get here, and when I installed it, the signal still came out of my onboard video. I would start the computer with the monitor plugged into the GPU, but my monitor said there was no signal. I would then plug in the monitor to the motherboard, and the monitor would light up and windows would ask for my password. I tried disabling the onboard video, but that changed nothing. The GPU doesen't even show up in device manager. I have every power cable plugged in and I did change the default video source to PCI. Nothing has worked yet. Please help.

System:
Asrock Z87 Extreme 4
EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked
Intel i5 4670k
EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B
Crucial Ballistix 2x4gb 1600mhz

When I try installing the drivers, it does a system check for hardware and it says that there is no device detected.

The only other computer I have is my laptop. I actually got this card one after returning a DOA 7970.

I re-seated it and I used an extra power cable from my PSU instead of the integrated one to plug it in and it worked.
